Is it not time, to develop the former Mirfield Councill building because it’s giving the wrong impression of Mirfield.

The former Mirfield Town Councill Officers were closed by Kirklees back in 2016. Now after 4 years the building could start to send a message that Our town centre is becoming run-down. the unkempt building belongs to Kirklees the poor Management of the Kirklees Councillor and their inability to understanding a business.

The 1903 Building is 117 years old and plays a part in Mirfield history to the rear of the building stands outbuildings and a large yard what was once used for council workers for the maintenance of Mirfield. To still see the for sale sign, and to let sign after 4 years is shameful, to say the least, the grey security shutters and the lack of maintenance attract the eye disappointing passes by, sending out a message and in these challenging time when shops are opening tomorrow Monday the 15th June. The Building it’s up for £325.000 or let at £18,500-£47,250 Per Annum. A re-vamp is well overdue, Mirfield deserves better. I think its time to reduce the price to attract a visitor.
